Journal History

Celebes Nursing Journal (CNJ) was established in 2024 as a peer-reviewed nursing journal with an international scope, published by Malata Sains Indonesia. The journal was founded to provide an accessible scholarly platform for advancing nursing science and evidence-informed healthcare across diverse populations and settings.

CNJ published its inaugural volume in 2024, with issues released in June and December. From 2025 onward, the journal expanded its publication schedule to three issues annually (April, August, and December).

As the journal developed, CNJ progressively strengthened its editorial governance, international editorial and reviewer networks, research-integrity policies, open-access infrastructure, and international authorship.
